Edie discovered her creative spirit at a young age and has since garnered millinery fans in fashion, press and celebrity circles. She spent an immensely intense and rewarding few years in tuition with millinery historian Jane Smith, which gave her the opportunity to develop as a designer & find her own unique style. She creates sculptural hats, including those made from fine straw.

Edie insists on handling materials whilst designing, eschewing the sketching process altogether to focus on touch and observation as a means of investigating every possibility before deciding upon the hats final form. She creates beautiful couture hats with a timeless aesthetic.

Her hat styles oscillate between art & fashion; they orbit around sculpture and hairstyle. Original hats have been spotted at Royal Ascot, Melbourne Cup and the Queens Annual Garden Party at Buckingham Palace. Edie has designed hats for artists performing at the Brit Awards, BBCTv Series & numerous special events around the world.
