Andrea advocates for social change and connection through art.
Currently her practice explores decolonial approaches to environmentalism developing co-created/ co-curated art projects within communities creating positive relationships with nature, this is under her arts company PACHA PEOPLE, who collaborate with communities for social change.
Andrea has also worked as a director, artistic associate, dramaturg & assistant director at theatres including: Young Vic, Royal Court, Metis Arts, Paper Birds Theatre Company, National Theatre’s New Work Department, Shakespeare’s Globe and New Earth Theatre.
Recent work includes: Director for ‘First Love is the Revolution’ by Rita Kalnejais (New Diorama), director and facilitator for 'Pink Transcript' a devised LGBTQA+ community film for SEEAC, ‘Anatomy of a Suicide’ by Alice Birch (Director, Corbet Theatre); ‘God & Monster’ (writer, commissioned by New Earth Theatre) and ‘Miss Philippines’ by Rogelio Braga (Director, New Earth Theatre).
