Holly Bazley: Artist, Inventor and STEM Educator
As an individual who has dyslexia and dyscalculia, I struggled a lot to understand the core concepts of science and maths because of the ways I was taught in school. I found that when I played board games at home, I learned a lot of the content I needed to get through to pass both primary and secondary school.
Now, we offer exciting workshops to schools that use the board and card games I designed specifically to help students understand the fundamental concepts of science and become involved in the larger STEM world of outreach. We pride ourselves on being inclusive to all who want to learn science, particularly those with learning differences like ADHD, Autism and Dyslexia.
Now I'm working on a period and menstrual cycle-themed board game to help young people learn more about their periods and start a more positive conversation about our bodies.
