Ciao! I’m a wordsmith.

In regular terms, I’m an English to Italian literary and audiovisual translator, a proofreader, a subtitler. And I’m a writer.

In my career, I’ve translated several books, movies, documentaries, and TV series. I’ve written and published poetry (one of which became an award-winning short animation).

In terms of formal academic background, I studied Theatretherapy and earned a BA in Modern Languages and Literature in Italy; while I gained an MA in Creative Writing with distinction at the historical Birkbeck University of London.

I came across visual poetry during my master and I fell for it.

I want a world full of poetry, so I’ll cover it with my found poetry.

I believe that poetry can be found everywhere, because poems are not scary, difficult, rhyming words on dusty books written by ancient writers.

Poetry is breath, space, rhythm, pace, meaning, sign, symbol, intention. And more. Or less.

Poetry, dear reader, is in the eyes of the beholder.
