Emerging from the UK small press/underground comics scene Mark is the co-creator of graphic novels the Bad Bad Place, Lip Hook, The Man Who Laughs (with writer David Hine,) and Cherubs! (with cartoonist Bryan Talbot,) and sole creator of hundreds of pages of comics and illustrations, as well as many beer labels, theatre posters, record covers and at least one library mural. He was selected by the British Council to work on two projects in South Korea: Sonnet CXLV, a collaboration with the poet Bo Seon Shim for their 'Shakespeare lives!' event, and later wrote and drew Kangkangee Blues, a love story of sorts for the Kangkangee Arts Village in Busan, He has exhibited art in autonomous art spaces, but also the ICA, has broadcast on Resonance FM and written about cinema for Electric Sheep, and is the long-standing, loosely defined cartoonist-in-residence for the Cartoon Museum in Fitzrovia.
