Phoebe Swan is an illustrator living beside the River Lea in Tottenham Hale and is inspired by both city life and the natural world. Her work is made using a variety of techniques including lino-print and digital media.

Her illustrations have been shortlisted for the World Illustration Awards and the Prize for Illustration. Her debut picture book, King Leonard's Teddy, was shortlisted for several awards including the Little Rebels Award for radical children's fiction.

Phoebe also teaches artists of all ages and is a lecturer on the BA in Illustration at the University of Northampton.
