Sam creates vibrant, loose drawings and paintings, working from life and generally outdoors in nature - she can often be found painting on Tottenham Marshes. She is inspired by nature and in particular the juxtaposition between the local industrial and natural landscape and enjoys painting with found material to connect her to the place.

Sam studied Visual Communication at Leeds College of Art and Design and works in arts project management and community engagement. One of her ongoing projects involves an artistic exploration of her late grandfather’s book of life advice and she has run creative projects in care homes inspired by his advice insta:@papajackstern
