Studio 28 is inspired by the home and surroundings of the two friends and collaborators Naomi Hodgkin & Maxine Thompson.

The Studio 28 building which the designers live and work in was itself once a textile factory.

All the fabrics are sourced locally from dead stock end of rolls or leather scraps that might otherwise end up in landfill. And all Studio 28 collections are made here in Tottenham.

Their aim is to oppose mass production, support other small local businesses and create items that are unique and affordable.
