I started taking photographs at live underground music and art events since I was 18 and then became a street photographer.
After a PhD in China Cultural Studies and a specialisation in International Cooperation to Development, I was awarded the University of Bolton-Beijng FSLU joint MA in International Multimedia Journalism in Beijing. Since moving to London, I have been freelancing for the press, exhibiting and teaching for mainstream and local news outlets (The Conversation, The Guardian, Haringey Community Press, Ham & High, Metro, The Times, Telegraph, etc.) and charities (Christian Aid, Mediatrust, PhotojournalismHub).
Lately, I am dedicating more time to my personal and community projects.
